It's all in the talent

I cannot wait for tomorrow to be over. Tomorrow is the grand opening of our new community clubhouse. This building has been here for 30 years, sits right on the lake with a 70 ft fireplace, it's awesome. But the old regime never did anything with it, and the new regime wanted to tear it down and build something new. We fought for 2 years to get them to redo the existing building. Mr. M and I have personally spent at least 200 hours working on projects, attending meetings, getting votes and more.

After two years we finally have a finished building and are looking forward to all the activites that are planned. Unfortunately I got dragged into organizing the entire opening, and so for the past two months I have gotten 30 events together that will happen over 12 hours tomorrow. This has been the bane of my existence. As if I needed another excuse to not blog! The kids also have a swim meet at the same time, ugh. Mr. M is on his own for that event. So, long story short, I hope to be able to get back to real life on Sunday.

Also, yes, Psycho Mom is still very psycho. The latest "short" story. She says the weekend of the 11th is her, it's not. BUT, she asks to switch it due to a "family portrait", yea right, and we say YES. What does she do? She says, no I'm canceling the portrait and I'm asking the judge to make you reimburse the $400 deposit my brother made. What a fucking psycho. Like any judge won't see past that? She.just.wants.to.argue. It's all she fucking has. What a sad life.....
