Memento

Geesh, it's been almost a month. We've had the start of school, another contempt hearing where Psycho Mom LOST, and Mr. M started his new job. Away. From Me. It's sucked. He's been home on weekends, but it's not enough time, and now he's on his way again, this time to Mexico. Normally I would join him, because hello - EXPENSE ACCOUNT - but, alas, I have the kids. After this week we will be back together again and doing the every other week jaunt to PA, again.

Which means we've also still been searching for a new place to live in PA. Mr. M and I have completely different needs in housing. I also have this strong desire to have a tiny house. We've looked at rentals and buying as well, and the only things that jump out at me are far, far away from where he wants to be. And the ones he wants, are drab, drab, drab. Also, only the 55+ communities have indoor pools, wtf is up with that? We posted a wanted ad and didn't get much on that until yesterday. I think we may have found our place, and I won't even mention what it looks like until Mr. M says yes. I don't need to get my hopes up again.

So, what have I been doing by myself? Nothing. I've been hit by the fall blues, especially when it started raining for days. I took the kids to school, then I went back to bed. I have tons of work waiting for me, which I need to crank out tomorrow. The new business is doing very well, though I've been dealing with some catty women, which made me remember why I lived with men my whole adult life, women suck. Today I tried on jeans, which just made me more pissed off. I took a picture of the back so I can send the photo to all the designers and explain exactly why they need to make pants for women that actually have curves. I'm sorry, but pants should not be the same circumference from hips to waist, some of us have a smaller waist than our ass, the way it SHOULD BE. You fuckers. Ahem, sorry about that.

Last night we tried a new restaurant, it sucked. Great atmosphere, awesome staff, spent time at the bar as well, but the food, blech. Biggest ribs ever seen, but the rest was soso at best. We came home to watch a Netflix movie we've had for months, Memento, very interesting movie, I highly recommend it. I won't even spoil it for you! Now I just need to get through one more week.....
